The Art Education exhibit is the culmination of the Art Education MAT Candidates’ student teaching internships. MAT Candidates select to exhibit notable student work created as either a result of a lesson plan taught by the Candidate or as a result of one on one meetings and support between the Candidate and the student.

In addition to curating and exhibiting their PK-12 students’ artwork, each MAT student presents a gallery talk in their seminar class in which they discuss their students’ artwork, the lessons’ objectives, their reflections and potential adjustments moving forward.
